My chicken parm actually helped me get out of a ticket when I was driving back to the office. I got pulled over by a Baltimore city cop for speeding and he asked what was in the bag and I said “chicken parm” and he said “...Party-vi?” and we chatted a bit and he let me off with a warning.

“free” is not always a good deal. we had our section Christmas lunch yesterday, which is usually pizza and salad. Hard to screw up pizza and salad, right? Nah. for some reason, they always go to this local place which has probably the worst pizza I’ve experienced. basically it’s a big 1/2" thick flatbread with sauce they must squeegee on, and a paper-thin layer of cheese. My manager and a couple other guys go there every Tuesday for lunch and for the life of me I can’t understand what they see in the place. I would literally vastly prefer Donkey Nose, Pizza Slut, or even Little Shitzers over it.

needless to say, I stuck with the salad. which was 90% crunchy water (Iceberg lettuce.)

“Free Boat” is also usually a bad deal.
